As a reminder, Scituate Community Christmas provides assistance not only at Christmas, but 365 days a year through our direct assistance programming. We couldn’t do it without you, our generous community of donors and volunteers! Some ways in which we’ve helped include:
Provided acts of kindness for a mom who suffered the loss of her child and two wives who lost their husbands
Covered rent payment for a married couple both suffering medical issues
Assisted with medical care needs for a single mom with two children
Provided household essentials for two struggling elderly couples
Purchased clothing for a foster child
Assisted a small business owner after a devastating fire
Purchased appliances for a new housing resident
Provided essentials for ten U.S. veterans
