The Hamilton Foundation provides funding to a wide variety of charities located in Massachusetts, each of which has a unique mission. From medical and scientific research and services to educational, artistic and recreational activities for underserved youth, to alleviating homelessness and providing funding for capital renovations and construction, the Hamilton Foundation has strengthened these programs with financial support.
Guided by the philosophy “Our work is not charity for those less fortunate, it is an investment in changing systems for and with our neighbors,” the foundation supports over 1,000 local organizations that provide vital services to communities in eastern MA, RI, and southern and coastal NH.
With a mission to support those in need across the Commonwealth, the MAR Charitable Foundation uses the funds they raise to support Massachusetts-based 501(c)(3) charitable organizations that address housing, hunger, homelessness, and disaster relief. We are proud to continue supporting our fellow Bay Staters.

Our commitment to making a real difference in the neighborhoods we serve comes to life through our contributions as an engaged local bank and initiatives like our Community Foundation. Rockland Trust’s Charitable Giving philanthropic mission is to strengthen the MA and RI communities they serve by providing access to opportunity and improving their quality of life.
