Become a volunteer OR neighborhood ambassador

Scituate Community Christmas relies on volunteers year-round with a variety of skills. We have opportunities for all ages.  Please complete the form below and our volunteer coordinator will get in touch with you. In some cases, our volunteers will be asked to submit a CORI.

CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES:

Neighborhood Ambassador - Neighborhood Ambassadors are typically students who are interested in volunteering to help distribute flyers and/or collect donations of toys or supplies to support our programs. We welcome families with younger students who may need parental guidance. If there is already an Ambassador in your neighborhood, we’ll ask you to pair up, divide and conquer.

On Call - We are looking for volunteers who would like to be “on-call” for shopping, errands, light work at the Susan Phippen House or making a trip to the transfer station for us. Volunteers on our “Go-Team” are flexible, reliable, and eager to help with any task! (Adults Only)

Groundskeeping - Weekly or bi-weekly efforts to maintain the upkeep of the grounds at the Susan Phippen House. This includes: house caretaking, gardening, yardwork, trash removal, painting, maintenance projects and more.

General Volunteer - Sign up below to receive information about upcoming volunteer opportunities.

Group Volunteers - Seasonally we may have opportunities for groups to get involved — everything from sorting inventory, making cards or cleaning up the yard!  We also love when you host a toy drive on our behalf!
