We are proud to share our 2025 Impact Report, which reflects the meaningful difference your generosity has made across our community—touching neighbors, families, students, educators, small business owners, and so many more.

On behalf of our Board of Directors, thank you to this remarkably generous community for showing up—during the holidays and throughout the year—to support friends and neighbors facing hardship. Your compassion makes it possible for us to carry forward the vision of our founder, Susan Phippen, and to serve as a vital bridge for individuals and families navigating unforeseen challenges.

Hardship takes many forms. A sudden illness or loss, divorce, job displacement, natural disaster, or housing instability can upend even the most steady lives. In these moments, our community needs a place of understanding and support. With the help of dedicated volunteers and donors like you, we strive to be that soft place to land—offering dignity, care, and hope when it is needed most.

While our name reflects a deep connection to the holiday season, our work extends far beyond it. For years, we have provided 365-day assistance, helping cover essentials like utility bills and rent, as well as often overlooked but critical needs including funeral expenses, prescription medications, college textbooks, and household appliances.  We could not do this work without YOU.

Thank you for being part of our story and for helping make Scituate a compassionate place to call home.

Gratefully,
Kim Stewart, President
